Your photos and your result

Two questions, and they are really one question: what happens to what I send, and who can see what comes back.

Densy keeps a copy of your photos

Your two photos are used to produce the estimate, and Densy keeps a copy of them so the team can see what the estimate was given and make it better. The copy is re-encoded first, which removes the location and other details phones attach. If you ask for the report by email or create an account, the copy is linked to that email or account.

They are also processed by an AI provider to produce the result. The copy stays until the Densy team deletes it. To have it deleted sooner, send us your result link through the contact route in the privacy notice below.

The full detail - what is kept, for how long, and where the processing happens

When the checker gives you a result, it gives you a link to it. That link is the only way back to it.

  • Anyone holding the link can see the result. There is no password and no account, so treat it the way you would treat any link you would not post in public. Posting it publicly publishes the result.
  • It stops working after a while. The result is deleted, not hidden, so the link simply stops resolving. The one exception: if you create a Densy account in the same browser, the check joins your account and stays with it until you delete the account.
  • A link that has expired and a link that never existed look identical. That is on purpose: it means nobody can tell a real result link from a guess.

You do not need an account

Nothing about the checker requires signing up, and using it does not create an account. That is also why there is no history to look back through - the link you were given is the record, and when it expires there is nothing left to find.

If you email the result to yourself

You can have the link to your result sent to your email address.

  • Without the tick, the address is not kept. It is used once, for that one email, and stored nowhere.
  • With the box ticked, Densy keeps your address, the language of your result and when you ticked, and sends you four short emails that week on how to break the scalp “Bunker”, one a day.
  • Every one of those emails has a link to stop them. It opens a page that asks first, so nothing stops by accident.
  • If you sign up afterwards, the account takes over: you get the rest of the same emails as a member, not the ones you already had again.

If you want the result to last

Start a guided baseline scan as a member. That is a different thing from this estimate: it is measured under controlled conditions, it is repeatable, and it is kept so you can compare against it later. This checker is a first look, not a baseline.
