Your monthly allowance
The Hair Coach is included with your membership, with an allowance that resets at the start of each calendar month. The date it resets is shown next to the meter.
It is not a fixed number of questions
This is the part worth understanding, because the meter will otherwise look wrong.
The allowance is measured by how much the coach reads and writes, not by how many times you press send. A short factual question with a short answer barely moves it. A long question that makes the coach read your whole scan history and reply at length moves it a lot.
So two members who each asked twenty questions can be in completely different places on the meter, and neither is a mistake.
Practically: asking more, shorter, more specific questions gets you further than asking a few sprawling ones. That is also how you get better answers, so the incentive points the same way as the advice.
What each outcome costs

An unfinished answer is the one to know about: what arrived is kept, and what was produced to that point counted. Asking again is not free, but it is cheap relative to the answer you did not get.
Asking the coach to look at a photograph
When you ask about something visible and the coach looks at the actual capture for that zone, that costs noticeably more than a text answer — an image is a lot for it to read.
It is worth it when you genuinely want the photograph described. It is not worth it as a way of asking “how am I doing”, which your readings already answer.
When it runs out
The coach stops answering until the reset date, and the thread says so. Nothing else about Densy is affected — scans, your routine, your history and the store all carry on as normal.
The check happens before an answer starts, not during it, so you will not be cut off mid-sentence. What you will see is a question that does not get taken up at all, with the meter explaining why.
Common questions
Can I buy more? No. The allowance is part of your membership and there is nothing to top up.
Does deleting a session give me the allowance back? No. Deleting removes the conversation from your list; it does not un-spend what answering it used.
Does a new session cost anything on its own? No. Starting a session is free — only answers count.
I have barely used it and the meter has moved a long way. Check whether those questions had the coach reading photographs, or produced very long answers. Both are heavier than they look. If neither fits, contact support.
